Real-Time Service Desk Query Monitoring
The Service Desk Queue Monitor is a Chrome extension developed by Stu McNeill. It is designed for Analyst users of LANDESK(r) Service Desk, allowing them to monitor a query or queue in real time.
With this extension, users can easily monitor incoming incidents to their Service Desk, receive alerts for major issues, and track approvals. The toolbar icon provides a one-click access to view and launch items in the query.
The extension also features a live count update with traffic light color indicators, providing a quick overview of the query status. Desktop notifications are available for new items in the query, ensuring that analysts are promptly notified.
Furthermore, the query and notification layouts can be customized based on Report Templates, giving users full control over the design.
